Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the SecondSIM website (the "Service") operated by SecondSIM ("us", "we", or "our"). SecondSIM is a trading name for "Serious People LTD".

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. Service Description

SecondSIM provides a subscription service for a UK-based, non-VoIP eSIM (embedded SIM) mobile number. This service is designed for freelancers, gig workers, and small business owners to use as a second, professional number for business communications and verification purposes (e.g., WhatsApp Business, bank 2FA, e-store verification). The plan includes unlimited UK calls and SMS. The service does not include international roaming.

2. Subscriptions

Our Service is billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the subscription plan you select when purchasing.

At the end of each Billing Cycle, your subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or we cancel it. You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time through your account management page or by contacting customer support.

A valid payment method is required to process the payment for your subscription. All payments are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3. 100% Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee based on the functionality of our service. This guarantee is subject to the following conditions:

  • The guarantee is valid for seven (7) days from the initial date of purchase.
  • You must request a refund by contacting our support team within this 7-day period.
  • The refund is only applicable if the SecondSIM number fails to successfully verify a legitimate, supported service. Supported services include, but are not limited to: WhatsApp Business, UK banking 2FA, Google, Shopify, Etsy, Amazon Seller, and eBay.
  • We reserve the right to request reasonable evidence (e.g., screenshots) of the verification failure before issuing a refund.
  • This guarantee does not cover refund requests due to change of mind, device incompatibility (please check our compatibility list *before* purchasing), or other reasons not related to the stated service functionality.
  • After the 7-day guarantee period, all payments are non-refundable.

4. Fair Usage Policy

The "Unlimited" calls and SMS feature is subject to a fair usage policy. This policy is designed to prevent fraud and abuse of our services. The service is intended for standard freelance and small business communication. It is not intended for:

  • Operating a call centre or telemarketing service.
  • Automated dialling, spamming, or bulk SMS messaging.
  • Any activity that is illegal or fraudulent.

We monitor usage, and if we determine, at our sole discretion, that your usage is abusive, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your service.

5. Service Limitations

No International Roaming: The service is for use within the United Kingdom only. Roaming (including making calls, sending texts, or using data) outside the UK is not supported and is explicitly excluded from the plan.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your subscription and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms or our Fair Usage Policy.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply cancel your subscription. Upon cancellation, your number will remain active until the end of your billing period, after which it will be deactivated and may be recycled by the carrier.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SecondSIM, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, a loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorised access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

8. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
